U18s Wreak Revenge on Watford - Ipswich Town News
Town's U18s got revenge on Watford for knocking them out of the FA Youth Cup win a 3-2 away win on Saturday morning. Ronan Murray, Luke Hyam and Jamie Griffiths were on target for the young Blues.
Murray opened the scoring from a Hyam through ball in the 15th minute, but Watford hit back on the half hour.
Hyam added the second himself just before the break, then Griffiths added the third on the hour with a solo effort. The Hornets scored their second with 10 minutes remaining. Town's U16s lost 1-0 to the same opposition.
U18s team: McLoughlin, Clemo, Dunbar, Cawley, Ainsley, Eastman, Clark (Daniels 5), Hyam, Murray, Lambe and Griffiths (Watson 75). Unused: Ward, Meekings, Duzgun.
