Early Bird Season Ticket Deadline Extended - Ipswich Town News

Town have announced the extension of their early bird season ticket offer until the final day of the season, Sunday, 3rd May. The club say that Roy Keane's appointment has got the Ticket Office phones ringing, despite almost 13,000 season tickets having already been sold.

Those signing up before the new deadline will pay an additional £10 "supplementary fee” (except under-16 and under-11 season ticket holders), but will get the same benefits as those who bought their seats before the original date - the 50% rebate if the club are promoted next season and the chance to buy their ticket via an extended interest-free payment scheme.

Chief executive Simon Clegg says the week's developments have led to significant new interest: "Roy Keane's appointment has created a huge buzz not only locally but also in Ireland.

"We have therefore decided to open up the early bird season ticket offer to ensure that more Town fans can join us on this journey to future success.

"Home support is absolutely critical to success on the pitch and I hope that new and old supporters will want to be part of this fantastic journey.

"Supporters can be the 12th player on the pitch and we need to recreate the atmosphere from last Sunday's win over Norwich on a week-in, week-out basis.”

Any fans who have bought their season ticket at the full price in recent weeks will have the balance refunded.
