Dos Santos Thanks Fans - Ipswich Town News
Loan star Giovani Dos Santos has thanked Town fans for their support during his time with the Blues. The Mexican scored four goals in six starts and two sub appearances after joining Town on a short-term basis from Spurs in March.
The former Barcelona man told the club site: "I want to thank the fans for supporting me. I love the fans here. It's been a great experience for me at Ipswich and I have learnt a lot in my time here.
"There are some very good players at the club and I think Ipswich can get in the Premier League very soon."
Boss Roy Keane said over the weekend that he felt it was unlikely that Dos Santos would return to the Blues next season, but the 19-year-old isn't ruling out any options at this stage: "I will go back to Tottenham and speak to the manager and we will see what happens from there.â€Â
While Spurs boss Harry Redknapp appears less than keen on Dos Santos, it's likely that Premier League and La Liga sides will be interested either in signing him permanently or on loan in the summer.
