Kavianpour Linked - Ipswich Town News
In between quoting comments by George Burley made about an unnamed player out of context so they appear to be about JC Roda's Marc Nygaard, the weekend papers revived another old link.
Iranian youngster Hamed Kavianpour had a brief trial at Portman Road last season with Town saying at the time they would keep an eye on his progress.
According to this weekend's papers they did and the 22-year-old Perspolis attacking midfielder is now a Town target.
Bolton and Rangers have also recently been linked with Kavianpour, one Iran's biggest footballing stars and a player keen to move to a European club sooner rather than later.
