Trotter in Play-Off Action With Scunthorpe - Ipswich Town News
On-loan midfielder Liam Trotter is set for League One play-off action this evening when his Scunthorpe side take on the MK Dons at Glanford Park in the first leg of their semi-final.
Trotter won himself a regular place in the Iron's side during April but was back on the bench for their final fixture with Tranmere, having suffered with a virus earlier that week, and seems likely to be amongst the subs tonight.
The 19-year-old is out of contract at the end of the season and may be in with a greater chance of being offered a new deal than the likes of Billy Clarke, Jai Reason, Kurt Robinson and Ed Upson.
Tonight's game is live on Sky Sports One from 7.30pm on the red button. The second leg at stadium:mk (sic) is next Friday.
