Harding's Reading Lose First Leg - Ipswich Town News

On-loan left-back Dan Harding's Reading lost the opening leg of their Championship play-off semi-final 1-0 at Burnley. Graham Alexander netted a penalty after Andre Bikey, later red-carded for a stamp, was adjudged to have pulled back Steven Thompson.

Harding, out of contract at the end of the season, played the full 90 minutes and impressed for the Royals. The 25-year-old is one of the three out of contract players yet to meet with new manager Roy Keane regarding their futures.

Harding and Liam Trotter, currently with Scunthorpe, are due to speak with Keane after their loan spells are up, while Matt Richards is expected to talk with the new boss next week.

Meanwhile, former Blue Richard Naylor made the error which led to Millwall's Neil Harris scoring the only goal as his Leeds side lost the first leg of their League One play-off semi-final at the New Den. Ex-Town full-back Scott Barron was left out of the Lions 16.
