Walters On Target for Pre-Season - Ipswich Town News
Midfielder Jon Walters is expected to be fit enough to start pre-season on time after injuring his ankle in the closing stages of 2008/09.
Physio Matt Byard told the club site: "Jon is progressing quite well and will go for a scan in early June.
"We will know the severity of the bone bruising then and he will see a specialist. It's expected that he will be able to start some jogging at that stage and by the end of June it's hoped that he will be taking part in football drills.
"Providing there are no hold-ups along the way, it's anticipated that Jon will be able to return to pre-season training at the same time as the other players."
