Robson's Town Years in Focus - Ipswich Town News

Sir Bobby Robson's FA and UEFA Cup-winning teams are featured on ESPN Classic's Glory Years series throughout next week with highlights of games from the 1978-81 era being shown every night at 10.55pm.

Monday 18th May sees a rerun of the 1978 FA Cup final, then the following day catch the 1979 clash between the Blues and Southampton at Portman Road. On Wednesday there's a compilation of action from games during that era.

Thursday sees a chance to relive the 1981 UEFA Cup final second leg against AZ Alkmaar in Amsterdam and on the Friday watch Town at Old Trafford against Manchester United.

On Wednesday 27th May there is also a further documentary, The Season: Ipswich 1980/81, screened at 11.25pm. ESPN Classic is found at Sky channel 442.
