Town Off to Cork for Friendly - Ipswich Town News
The Blues will play a pre-season friendly with manager Roy Keane's hometown club Cork City. The date of the match is yet to be set, but it will be at some point during July.
Town secretary Sally Webb told the club site: "We should be able to confirm the friendly in the next day or so."
Other first team friendlies already organised are a game against Charlton at the Valley on Tuesday 28th July, a trip to Southend on Wednesday 22nd July, a visit to Brentford on Wednesday 15th July and the Fabian Wilnis testimonial at Portman Road against Colchester on Saturday 25th July.
A Town reserves side will travel to Hadleigh United for a pre-season game at their Millfield ground on Wednesday 8th July.
