Season Ticket Sales Up on Last Season - Ipswich Town News

Town have sold more than 2,700 season tickets since Roy Keane became boss at the end of April. The Blues' total stood at around the 13,000 mark prior to the Irishman's appointment, but is now approaching 16,000, surpassing last year's final tally.

Ticket office and call centre manager John Ford told the club site that the change of boss has had a major effect on sales: "Roy Keane coming in as manager has certainly seen a boost in season ticket sales and we are now over the 15,500 mark.

"We have had a six per cent increase in ‘early bird' season ticket sales compared to last year and we have already sold 150 or so more tickets this year than we finished with last season.

"We're still getting a steady flow of supporters purchasing tickets for next year as well and there certainly seems to be a buzz of excitement amongst the fans."

After Keane's appointment Town extended the 'early bird' period in which tickets could be purchased at cheaper prices until the end of the season. Full season ticket prices and details on the club site.
