Harding Keen on Permanent Reading Move - Ipswich Town News
Released full-back Dan Harding says he would love to join former loan club Reading on a permanent basis, but feels his chances of a deal depend on who is named as Steve Coppell's successor as manager. Earlier this week, Harding was told his time with Town was up.
The former Leeds and Brighton man said: "I'd love to come back to Reading but obviously that's up to the club. I would like to sit down over the summer and speak to those I need to speak to like my family.
"My contract is up at Ipswich but I suppose a lot depends on who the new manager is.â€Â
On Tuesday, Reading's director of football Nick Hammond said he was considering offering Harding a contract, having been impressed with him during his loan spell at the Madejski Stadium.
