Don't Book Your Flights - Ipswich Town News
Town have urged fans not to book flights for the pre-season trip to Ireland until the dates of the fixtures have been finalised. The Blues and Cork City have agreed to play a match, pencilled in for July 19th, while other games are also under discussion.
Club secretary Sally Webb told the club site: "We have been taking calls from fans asking for dates so they can book flights to Ireland, but at the moment we have not finalised any details of any fixture.
"Hopefully, we will have some information next week. I think it's important that our supporters do not start booking travel arrangements until full details of any game we play in Ireland are published on the club website."
Meanwhile, ex-Town defender Chris Swailes is in talks regarding a move to his hometown club Gateshead. Swailes, 38, has been with Hamilton Academical in Scotland for the last two seasons.
