Trotter Helps Scunthorpe to Wembley Victory - Ipswich Town News
Midfielder Liam Trotter helped his loan club Scunthorpe make an immediate return to the Championship with a 3-2 victory over his former loan side Millwall at Wembley on Sunday afternoon.
Trotter was introduced as a 55th minute substitute with the Iron 2-1 behind, having taken an early lead.
Former Blue Scott Barron was an unused sub for Millwall with whom Trotter made one start and two appearances early in the 2006/07 season.
The out-of-contract 20-year-old, who made five starts and nine sub appearances in three months at Scunthorpe, is expected to meet Town boss Roy Keane to discuss his future this week.
