Dutchman Says He Was Close to Signing - Ipswich Town News
JC Roda Kerkrade full-back Ramon Van Haaren has revealed that he almost joined Town earlier this season. The Dutchman was linked a couple of times a little while before Chris Makin joined, but no great fanfare was made.
Van Haaren, who is about to join Feyenoord, said: "I am 28 now, earlier in the season I was close to a transfer to Ipswich Town. If I want to make a step forward it has got to happen now."
It seems something stopped the deal going through and Town turned their attention to Chris makin instead. Looked OK so far hasn't he?
