Ambrose Joins Crystal Palace - Ipswich Town News
Former Blue Darren Ambrose is reported to have agreed to join Crystal Palace on a free transfer from Charlton Athletic. Ambrose, who spent time on loan with the Blues last season, is expected to officially complete the move on a two-year deal when his current contract is up at the end of June.
The midfielder came through the youth system at Playford Road before moving to Newcastle in 2003 for £1 million during the Blues' spell in administration.
The former England U21 international joined Charlton in 2005 before returning to Portman Road for two months last season but failed to win a permanent deal.
