Leicester's Mattock Again Linked With Town Switch - Ipswich Town News
Leicester City may be willing to allow left-back Joe Mattock to move to Portman Road, according to one of Sunday's tabloids. The 19-year-old was previously linked with the Blues last month.
That report claimed that the Blues would be willing to pay £2 million for the England U21 international.
Earlier this week, Town were also linked with another Leicester player, released central defender Patrick Kisnorbo.
Both Mattock and Kisnorbo played alongside Gareth McAuley at Leicester and will be well known to Town coach Tony Loughlan, who was a member of the Foxes academy staff until 2006 when he joined Roy Keane at Sunderland. Loughlan will have worked closely with Mattock in particular as he came through the ranks at the Walkers Stadium.
