Rhodes and Walters On Course for Pre-Season - Ipswich Town News
Strike duo Jordan Rhodes and Jon Walters should be fit enough to start pre-season training at the beginning of July. Rhodes broke a metatarsal while on loan at Brentford, while Walters injured ankle ligaments in the closing stages of Town's season.
Physio Matt Byard told the club site: "Jon has seen a specialist and had a scan and he's progressing well.
"He is back doing some running and will be stepping up his recovery with some multi-directional work and then some ball work.
"As things stand, he should be back for the start of pre-season training and it's the same with Jordan. He's had an x-ray and is doing well.
"He's running and will increase his workload over the next week or so with some football drills and should be back in training for the start of July."
