Beattie to Become Agent - Ipswich Town News
Newspaper reports over the weekend say that Town legend Kevin Beattie is set to become an agent. The man voted top Town player ever is setting up the Kevin Beattie Football Consultancy.
There is no mention in the report of him taking charge of any current Town players.
AS Roma, Town's last European foes, are reported to have joined the chase for Kieron Dyer. £18 million is the price being bandied about should a move go through, of which Town should see a reasonably slice.
The Blues will get a percentage of any profit Newcastle make on their £6 (plus various extras) signing.
Newcastle meanwhile insist they are keeping the player, although they privately admit they couldn't afford not to take any bid around the £22 million mark.
