Peters in Gold Cup Action - Ipswich Town News
Jaime Peters and Canada get their CONCACAF Gold Cup campaign under way later today when they face Jamaica in their opening group game in California. Peters looks likely to start and win his 18th full cap.
The Canadians subsequently take on El Salvador next Tuesday and then Costa Rica the following Friday. Earlier this week, Canada beat Guatamala 3-0 in a warm-up game.
Peters's involvement in the tournament means he misses the opening weeks of Town's pre-season programme.
