Hartley Set for Bristol City - Ipswich Town News
Reported Town target Paul Hartley is undergoing a medical at Bristol City and is expected to join the Robins over the weekend. The Blues had been mentioned in connection with the 32-year-old out-of-contract former Celtic player on a number of occasions since the end of last season.
Many of the reports suggested that Town manager Roy Keane and Hartley were team-mates at Celtic, but their spells at Parkhead didn't coincide.
Elsewhere, Hamilton midfielder James McCarthy will reportedly decide where his future lies in the next two weeks with Town, Burnley, Wigan, Derby, Lazio, Brescia and Palermo all believed to be interested in signing him.
Roy Keane made a trip to Scotland to catch the 18-year-old in action at the end of the season.
