Pablo Misses Finn Harps Trip - Ipswich Town News
Striker Pablo Couñago will miss Tuesday's first pre-season friendly in the Republic of Ireland against Finn Harps after picking up a minor groin injury in training (KO 8pm).
Town will take a squad of 17 to Finn Park, including skipper Gareth McAuley, who is over his knee problem, and new signing Damien Delaney. New midfielder Lee Martin won't make the trip having completed his move from Manchester United this afternoon.
Also missing will be Jaime Peters, who is in the USA at the CONCACAF Gold Cup with Canada.
Finn Park holds special memories for manager Roy Keane as it was there that he made his League of Ireland debut for Cobh Ramblers back in September 1989, although his side lost 3-1.
