Pablo Couñago continues to suffer from a groin problem and will miss the trip to Brentford on Wednesday 16th July. He missed the earlier trip to Finn Harps where Town lost 2-1.
Jordan Rhodes will be hoping to make an appearance for the Blues against the team he spent some time on loan last season, a spell cut short by a broken metatarsal. He scored seven goals in 14 appearances and became a firm favourite with the Griffin Park faithful.
Lee Martin is likely to make his first appearance for Ipswich since his transfer from Manchester United.
