Thijssen to Attend Fab's Big Day - Ipswich Town News
Town legend Frans Thijssen has been confirmed for Fabian Wilnis's testimonial against Colchester United on Saturday 25th July (KO 2pm).
Thijssen will take part in the half-time mini-match with fellow Town stars of the past, including Martijn Reuser, Darren Currie, Gary Croft, John McGreal, Kevin Horlock, Jason Dozzell, Sylvain Legwinski, Simon Milton and Hermann Hreidarsson.
The former Dutch international will also be the guest of honour at Fab's testimonial dinner at the Town Hall later the same evening.
Meanwhile, Wilnis was in match action with Needham Market last night, netting a headed goal in a 2-0 victory at Stowmarket as he prepares for next week's testimonial.
