Kachloul Signs for Town! - Ipswich Town News

Hassan Kachloul has this afternoon signed for Town on a Bosman. The Moroccan revealed the news on his own website within the last hour.

The player said: "The conversations that I had with David Sheepshanks and George Burley were what finally convinced me that this was the right move for me. Both men impressed me and their vision of the future for Ipswich is great.

"I wanted to sign for a club whose ambition matches mine and I believe that I am. George Burley particularly impressed me and I think this year he has shown what a great coach he is. Every player at Ipswich knows their job and I look forward to playing under him.

"Despite late interest from other clubs this move just felt right. Sometimes in football you just have to go with your gut instinct and I just feel this is the right move for me. I am in no doubt that I am making the right move."

European football was also a factor in his deciding to move to Town.
