Richards on Trial at Walsall - Ipswich Town News
Released defender or midfielder Matt Richards has joined League One Walsall on trial. The 24-year-old played in this afternoon's friendly against West Brom and scored in a 2-2 draw at the Bescot Stadium.
Earlier this summer, Richards spent time on trial at Leyton Orient, but was not offered a contract by manager Geraint Williams.
Walsall recently signed ex-Town striker Sam Parkin on a free transfer after he left Luton at the end of last season.
