Huddersfield One of Two Clubs Chasing Rhodes - Ipswich Town News
Boss Roy Keane has revealed that two clubs are chasing striker Jordan Rhodes, who missed last night's match at Charlton due to a minor knock. Huddersfield Town are claimed to be one of the interested parties.
Earlier in the week Keane said that the 19-year-old striker had been the subject of an offer that Town had turned down and now says two clubs are chasing the striker. However, the Blues boss appears to be keen to keep him at Portman Road: "Jordan had a twinge in the morning and I did not want to take any chances with him.
"Everton wanted to keep Wayne Rooney, but if an offer comes in sometimes they are accepted.
"Things change in football, but Jordan is an Ipswich player and hopefully he will be fit enough to be considered for Friday's game.
"There has been interest in him from two clubs. But it would not be fair to say which clubs.â€Â
Earlier in the summer, Rhodes's former loan club Brentford made an enquiry regarding the striker's possible return to Griffin Park for a further spell.
