Keane Admits Shopping Proving Difficult - Ipswich Town News
Town boss Roy Keane has admitted that his summer shopping hasn't always gone entirely to plan, but hopes to have one or two more faces in his squad by the time the Blues face Coventry at the Ricoh Arena on Sunday 9th August.
Keane said: "It is proving difficult. We have a price in mind for players but it has not always gone to plan.
"There is unlikely to be anything happening in the next couple of days, but I am hopeful about bringing in one or two by the Coventry match. If not, then I am sure we will still be fine. But I have players in mind.â€Â
So far, Keane has added youngsters Troy Brown and Shane O'Connor and senior players Lee Martin, Damien Delaney and Colin Healy to his squad.
Meanwhile, a Town reserves side is in action at Chelmsford City this evening (KO 7.45pm).
