Boss Roy Keane will watch the Blues reserves in action at Bury Town this evening in their final pre-season friendly (KO 7.45pm).
The second string, run by head of football development Bryan Klug this season, have so far beaten Gorleston 8-0, Hadleigh 4-0, Clacton 7-2 and Debenham 2-0 and have drawn 1-1 at Chelmsford and Lowestoft.
