Lisbie Nets Twice as U\'s Destroy Canaries - Ipswich Town News
On-loan Town striker Kevin Lisbie netted twice on his return to Colchester United as the U's demolished Norwich City 7-1 at Carrow Road to send the Canaries to second-bottom of League One. Lisbie rejoined his former club on loan for the season earlier in the week.
It was a good day for ex-Town strikers with Jordan Rhodes and Dean Bowditch both scoring debut goals for the new clubs. Bowditch's Yeovil, who also featured George O'Callaghan, beat Tranmere 2-0, while Rhodes came off the bench to net the equaliser for Huddersfield in a 2-2 draw at Southend.
Jon Macken scored for Barnsley in a 2-2 draw at Sheffield Wednesday and Alan Lee netted for Crystal Palace in a 1-1 draw at home to Plymouth.
