Felixstowe Branch Up and Running - Ipswich Town News
The Felixstowe Branch the Ipswich Town Supporters Club held a successful re-launch on Wednesday 5th August at the Trimley Sports and Social Club.
Peter Clark chaired the meeting which proceeded with a minute silence to Town and football legend Sir Bobby Robson.
Town chief executive Simon Clegg and former full-back Fabian Wilnis were guest speakers for the evening and they were happy to answer any questions thrown in their direction. Fabian also brought along his book The Full English, signed copies of which are available via TWTD here.
A raffle was held on the night and £200 was raised all of which will be going to the Sir Bobby Robson Foundation.
The next step for the branch is an inaugural meeting which is planned for August 19th. The branch is hoping to stage regular social events for members and also that not too far in the future sponsor an academy player.
