Town's U18s concluded their pre-season preparations with a 1-0 victory over Arsenal at the Gunners' Shenley Training Centre.

Town again fielded Portuguese trialist Fabio Lopes (pictured), who started up front alongside Ronan Murray, who was on the first team bench at Shrewsbury earlier in the week. Striker Caolan Lavery netted the Blues' goal on the hour mark.

U18s: McLoughlin, Bennett, Dunbar, Hyam, Meekings, Eastman, Cawley, Carson, Murray, Lopes and Griffiths. Subs: Burke, Lavery, Fisher, Clark and Brandon.
