Town’s double move for Sunderland duo Grant Leadbitter and Carlos Edwards is very close to being done. Sources in the North-East report that only the paperwork is still to be completed before the duo are confirmed as Town players.

The clubs agreed a joint fee reported to be £2.8 million rising to £4 million last week and the pair have been talking personal terms with the Blues ever since.
