Rosenior Looking For Premier Return - Ipswich Town News

New loan signing Liam Rosenior is aiming for a return to the Premier League with Town. The Reading man, who played for Fulham in the top flight earlier in his career, has joined the Blues until the end of the season.

Rosenior told the club site: "I know about the proud tradition of Ipswich and the history of the club and, with the manager here, it's obviously a very exciting time for Ipswich Town.

"The manager has made it clear what his ambitions are for Ipswich and that means a place back in the Premier League. It's a new venture for the football club and I'm delighted to be involved.

"It's certainly my goal, to get back in the Premiership, and I'm here to play my part in helping Ipswich have a good season. There are some very good players at this club and I think we have a great chance of doing well.

"I enjoyed my time at Reading but they have had to move players on and trim their wage bill and I have no problem with that. The two clubs are at different stages at the moment, although they have the same ambitions and, when I was told that Ipswich wanted me, the move appealed straight away.

"It's a big year for me and I'm looking forward to it at Ipswich. I want to play as many games as I can and do my best for the club and, like I said, I believe we've got a great chance of doing well here."
