Supple Back in Action - Ipswich Town News
Former Town keeper Shane Supple returned to action on Thursday evening when he played for Gaelic football side St Brigid’s in a Dublin Senior Football Championship game against St Jude’s. The 22-year-old left the Blues by mutual consent last month after deciding a career in professional soccer wasn’t for him.
Supple, a big fan of the GAA games since childhood, took his usual position between the sticks but couldn’t prevent his new team from being defeated 2-13 to 2-12.
