Town’s reserves face Colchester United this afternoon at Portman Road (KO 2pm). Fringe players such as Shane O'Connor (pictured), Ed Upson, Reggie Lambe, Troy Brown, Jack Ainsley and new keeper Arran Lee-Barrett are likely to be involved.
The Blues second string, coached this season by Bryan Klug, beat Peterborough United 1-0 in their opening fixture, also at Portman Road, with Tommy Smith netting the goal.
