Academy Schoolboy on Standby for Wales - Ipswich Town News

Academy schoolboy Jack Simmons is on standby for the Wales U17 squad for their European Championships qualifiers against Iceland, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Russia in a fortnight’s time.

The Welsh youngsters take on Iceland at Carmathen on September 28th, the Bosnians at Llanelli on September 30th and Russia at Haverfordwest on October 2nd.

Last month, Simmons, who was a member of the academy U15 side which faced Manchester United in a friendly at Portman Road in April, was included in a training camp held in North Wales.
