Disability Liaison Officer in Running for Another Award - Ipswich Town News
Warner Duff, Town’s disability liaison officer, is on the shortlist in the Feelgood Factor category at the Pride of Britain Awards. Earlier this year, Warner carried off the EA Sports Fan of the Year at the 2009 Football League Awards and was named Club Employee/Volunteer for 2009 by the National Association of Disabled Supporters (NADS).
To represent the Anglia TV region at the Pride of Britain Awards final gala dinner in London in October, Warner faces competition from three other candidates.
The shortlist for each of the 10 ITV regions was drawn up by a panel of judges from candidates nominated because they are helping to make the nation more active.
The four regional candidates will appear on Anglia this week with the finalist announced on Friday.
