Sir Bobby Town-Newcastle Scarf Sells Out - Ipswich Town News

The club has already sold out of the Town-Newcastle friendship scarves released yesterday to raise funds for the Sir Bobby Robson Foundation. The Blues have ordered more which should be on sale in time for the Newcastle game on September 26th.

Town’s head of retail Elaine Hull told the club site: "It's another sign of what Sir Bobby means to the people of Ipswich.

"The demand has been amazing and we've already been in contact with the suppliers to order some more scarves which should be available in the Planet Blue stores and online in time for the Newcastle game next Saturday."

Also on sale at Planet Blue and online, for £6 like the split scarf, is a Town scarf bearing the Sir Bobby Robson Foundation logo with profits going to the charity.

On Monday, Robson’s memorial service at Durham Cathedral is being shown live on the Cornhill, while shops in town are being encouraged to dress their windows in blue and white in tribute.

The club will rename the North Stand the Sir Bobby Robson Stand at the Newcastle game, which his widow Lady Elsie is expected to attend.
