Robson Family\'s Thanks for Service - Ipswich Town News
Lady Elsie Robson says Monday’s memorial service for husband Sir Bobby meant a great deal to the legendary Town manager’s family. More than 1,000 invited guests attended the service at Durham Cathedral.
She said: "I was so delighted. So many people said how stunning the service was. It meant so much to us."
Andrew, one of the couple’s three sons, added: "It was a fitting tribute and he would have been truly honoured."
Lady Elsie is expected to attend Saturday’s game between Town and Newcastle United where Portman Road’s North Stand will be renamed in her husband’s honour at half-time.
