Garvan No to Loan Switch - Ipswich Town News
Boss Roy Keane has revealed that midfielder Owen Garvan turned down the chance to go out on loan to an unnamed club last week. Garvan has been out of Keane’s 18 for the last month.
The Town manager said that the switch was put to the Irish U21 international skipper but he wasn’t interested: ”One or two players had an opportunity to go out on loan last week including Owen Garvan, but he didn’t want to go. Some players don’t want to go out on loan.
"Owen had an opportunity last week, but he didn’t want to go and get some games.”
Recently, Garvan said he was determined to work hard to win himself a place back in Keane’s plans.
