Spencer Prior Sheep Shocker - Ipswich Town News

It will come as little surprise to many Town fans that former Norwich defender Spencer Prior finds himself at the centre of a contract controversy involving a clause which states he must have "a physical liaison" with a sheep.

Prior could find himself in hot water should he try to honour this and several other clauses of his new contract at Cardiff City after joining them for £650,000 from Manchester City. Other clauses state that eat fried sheep's testicles with lemon and salt, sheep's brains with parsley, lemon and salt, and lamb's liver in its own blood.

The contract has been lodged with the FA and the PFA and is the 'brainchild' of top comedy Cardiff chairman Sam Hammam. Cardiff confirmed that the contract exists, spokesman Julian Jenkins: "Yes, it's absolutely true. Spencer's contract stipulates that he must have a physical liaison with a sheep."

He continued: "I don't know if he'll actually stick to it because his wife's quite a looker, but we'll have to wait and see."

Should Prior fulfil the terms of his contract he is likely to receive a custodial sentence.
