Carson Scores as Trio Win Caps - Ipswich Town News

Academy midfielder Josh Carson (pictured) scored and Town team-mates Rory McKeown and Cormac Burke also won Northern Ireland U17 caps as their side drew 2-2 with Greece in Athens on Wednesday. McKeown is a full-back and Burke a midfielder.

The game was the first of two friendlies in the Greek capital with the second on Friday. The games are warm-ups for the UEFA U17 Championships in Andorra later this month.

The Northern Irish youngsters face the hosts, Malta and Holland in the tournament which starts on October 22nd.
