Fry: Posh Not Chasing McAuley - Ipswich Town News
Peterborough United director of football Barry Fry has denied this morning’s tabloid claim that his club was targeting Town central defender Gareth McAuley. Posh are looking to add a loan defender to their squad but Fry says McAuley isn’t the man on their wish-list.
The former Barnet and Birmingham boss says that as TWTD predicted earlier today, the Northern Irishman is not being targeted: "He is the not the player we are chasing. His age and his wages would make him unsuitable."
