Stead Linked With Derby Return - Ipswich Town News
Striker Jon Stead has been linked with a loan move to Derby County by one of this morning’s tabloids. Stead was left out of the Town 18 yesterday and hasn’t started a match since the Nottingham Forest game on September 15th.
Stead, who earlier this week conceded he might leave the club in the near future, was previously on loan at Pride Park in 2006/07 when a Sunderland player, scoring three goals in 15 starts and two sub appearances.
Meanwhile, Doncaster Rovers boss Sean O’Driscoll has dismissed speculation linking him with loan moves for Stead and Town team-mate Owen Garvan: "Stead and Garvan are not really on our radar because of the cost involved.”
