Arsenal Conference Announces Campbell - Ipswich Town News
Arsenal's press conference seems to have been to announce their signing of Sol Campbell and not Richard Wright. Campbell has signed on a four-year deal.
There seems to be no progress on the Wright deal as yet, contrary to reports elswhere.
Former Town midfielder or defender Steve Palmer has moved from Watford to QPR on a free transfer. Palmer left Town in 1995 for £135,000.
New on the site are a Do You Remember? on Own Goals (which do you remember best?) pictures of the North Stand, South Stand and other developments at Portman Road and a Town Topic on the signing of Andy Marshall, is it a good deal?
