Edwards Named World Cup Ambassador - Ipswich Town News

Town midfielder Carlos Edwards has been named as one of 50 ambassadors for England’s bid to host the 2018 World Cup. The ambassadors will support England’s bid at events and international matches both in the UK and abroad.

Edwards, who is 31 tomorrow, has won 78 caps with Trinidad and Tobago and was a key member of their side at the 2006 World Cup in Germany, playing every minute of their games against Sweden, England and Paraguay.
