Wickham Wins Cap in England Victory - Ipswich Town News
Striker Connor Wickham won his fifth England U17 cap but failed to score as his side thrashed Kazakhstan 6-2 in their opening UEFA European U17 Championship qualifying group game in Azerbaijan this morning.
The Town frontman started the game but was replaced in the 61st minute having created one of the three goals scored by the time he was taken off.
England take on the hosts on Wednesday and Serbia on Saturday.
