Garvan Called Up - Ipswich Town News
Out-of-favour midfielder Owen Garvan has been named in the Republic of Ireland squad for their UEFA U21 European Championship qualifying fixtures against Georgia and Armenia next month. Garvan has won 13 caps at U21 level and has recently captained the side.
The Irish youngsters take on the Georgians in Tbilisi on Saturday 14th November and Armenia in Yerevan on the following Tuesday.
Ireland currently sit fifth in their six-team group having drawn three and lost one of their four fixtures.
