P!nk to Play Portman Road - Ipswich Town News
Portman Road will stage its first concert since 2007 next summer when US star P!nk is in town on Tuesday 29th June.
P!nk is set to play at six venues across the country on her first ever stadium tour. The other venues are Bolton’s Reebok Stadium, Swansea’s Liberty Stadium, the Ricoh Arena in Coventry, Glasgow’s Hampden Park and Alton Towers.
The Red Hot Chili Peppers were the last band to play at Portman Road, while Elton John, Neil Diamond, Elton John and REM have all performed there in the past. Earlier this year negotiations with the Eagles broke down over a concert planned for last summer.
