Spurs Keeper Joins on Loan - Ipswich Town News
Town have signed 17-year-old Tottenham goalkeeper Mirko Ranieri on loan until the end of the season. The Blues are short on academy keepers with Irish youngster Ian McLoughlin too old to play in the FA Youth Cup.
Ranieri has already featured for the Town U18s this season, keeping a clean sheet in the 0-0 draw at Portsmouth.
Formerly with Perugia, Ranieri joined Spurs in July 2008 and has represented Italy at U16 and U17 levels.
On Saturday morning, Town's U18s lost 2-1 at Southampton.
